Frequently asked questions about buying a holiday home
Buying a holiday home is a fantastic way to enjoy a holiday, it gives you the choice and freedom to holiday in a place that you can enjoy throughout the season.
Buying and owning a caravan at Cambria is a cost effective solution to owning a second home.
We appreciate that your spare time is precious and it is important to us that we find you the right holiday home, within your budget first time, so you and your family can enjoy Cambria for years to come.

Here are the most common questions we get asked with some tips to get you off to a great start!
1. How long is the season?
The majority of parks operate a season. Cambria Caravan Park opens on March 16th 2016 and closes October 30th 2016. Giving you access to the park for over 7 ½ months of the year.
2. How much are the Pitch Fees?
The Pitch Fees for 2016 are £2,800.00 which includes, VAT, water, security, park maintenance and refuse collection. There are 2 extra charges throughout the season the annual Gas test which is billed in June and the winterisation (draining down and reconnecting at the beginning of the season) which is billed in April. Insurance in mandatory and a copy of the Insurance Schedule MUST be kept in office. There is a choice of Insurance companies, please ask in the office for more information. The policy must be NEW FOR OLD.
3. Is there an age limit to the holiday home I can site on the park?
NO- but the caravan must be kept clean and tidy.
4. Does the park offer a part-exchange service?
If after a few years you decide you want to purchase a new holiday home or something that is newer, the sales office will offer you a great part-exchange service.
5. Do you offer finance?
No, we suggest you arrange your own finance with your bank or other lenders. Supermarkets can also offer a competitive rates.
6. Can I let my holiday home out?
We prefer if you only allow friends and family are to use/ hire your caravan.
7. Do you allow Dogs?
Yes well behaved dogs are welcome! We ask that they are walked off site and kept on a lead at all times. Any dog fouling MUST be picked up and not to foul outside other people’s caravans.
8. Can I live on the Park?
No, Cambria Caravan Park is not a residential park and is only licensed for holiday use. We require a copy of your Council Tax Bill for your file to show that you have a residential address. You must inform us of any change of address.
